Holiday Club
Our Spiral Holiday Clubs are run exclusively for Spiral Trust School children, and they are run by our experienced and trusted team with paediatric first aiders onsite at all times.
Our Holiday Clubs are mostly run from The HUB at Fleetville Junior School, AL1 4LW, and we also have access to a safe and secure section of the field and playground.
Your children’s safety and wellbeing is at the heart of what we do as well as providing an environment that encourages ‘old school’ play, whereby children can become immersed in a range of screen-free activities across the day where they can get their hands messy, their brains activated, bodies moving and minds thinking creatively.
Research has shown that in today’s society children do not get the chances like they once did to play freely for long periods of time, to play imaginatively and engage with other children across age groups.
This is why at our FACES holiday clubs we thoughtfully provide a range of activities that are planned with adult supervision as well as open ended resources for children to choose and use as they please.
Our holiday clubs run for children from Reception up to year 6 and the children are supervised at all times by high ratios of staff who know, or get to know them well,
We provide quieter spaces for rest as the days can be long, especially for younger children and we are always aware that the younger children need check-ins throughout the day.
We provide snacks at around 10am and 2:30pm and 4:00pm.
We ask that all children bring with them a packed lunch (no nuts!) and water bottle, as well as a spare set of clothes and hat/ sun cream if required. Please apply sun cream before they arrive.

What you need to know if you are booked on to holiday club
The Holiday club runs between 9am and 5pm, with pick up options of 3pm, 4pm or 5pm. We sometimes offer an earlier slot of 8:30am so please ask if you need this.
Please remind yourself of your collection time. If you need to extend your day, you can always request this on the day, by texting or calling the club phone - 07720 685 375.
Staff
Senior staff will be working in shifts and all other staff are regular and familiar staff from our teams across the Juniors and Infant schools.
Activities
We will be outside as much as possible using the playground space and facilities. Activities include sport, crafts, gardening activities, treasure hunts and more.
Drop Off and Pick Up
Please bring all children to the Hub door, which is in the Junior School to the right of the carpark. It is slightly hidden, but there is signage! There is a door bell to ring. There will be a members of staff to welcome your child. This will also be the pickup point.
Clothing
We will be having fun and will no doubt get dirty so please do not send them in their best clothes. We intend to be outside as much as possible, so please come with a rain coat, sunhat, and please apply/ supply sun cream if necessary for your child to put on.
Food
Please remember we are a NUT FREE SCHOOL.
Please send your child in with a packed lunch and named water bottle. We will be providing snacks during the day. Please make sure that Magicbooking has up to date dietary information about your child, including any allergies.
Medications
Please hand any named medications over to staff when you arrive. Any medications such as inhalers or epipens will be kept safely in our staff area.
